A teepee wedding in Cambridge
Today I’m sharing the wedding videography highlights and feature film from a PapaKåta teepee wedding which took place back in September. Clare and Eman’s wedding has also been featured over on Rock my Wedding (April 2018). Their ceremony was held at OLEM in central Cambridge, and was followed by a reception in a PapaKåta teepee at Clare’s parents’ home. I absolutely love teepee weddings, sperry tent weddings and all things outdoors, so if you’re getting married and planning an outdoor reception, get in touch! I’d love to film for you
Clare and Eman’s ceremony was set for the early afternoon slot at OLEM in central Cambridge. As such, Ed and I arrived earlier than we normally would to film morning preparations at Clare’s parents’ home where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready and the reception was set to take place.
Clare chose a really stunning, open back wedding dress that fitted both of the day’s settings perfectly; a city centre ceremony in one of the most beautiful churches and an outdoor, garden party teepee wedding reception.
The skies held throughout the morning, but the first of the rain started to fall as everyone was leaving the church in Cambridge… and it didn’t really stop. What I will say though, is that if you are planning a teepee wedding in the UK and you’re worried about the weather… don’t be! This teepee wedding and another blustery sperry tent wedding Ed and I filmed in PapaKåta tents have both been on wet days, and both times everyone remained dry and happy. Clare and Eman took the rain in their stride and still managed to have a wonderful wedding day. I’ll let the films and the still frames captured from the footage do the rest of the talking, but do check out the suppliers listed at the bottom of this post if you’re also planning a Cambridge wedding or a PapaKåta teepee wedding!
