Worcestershire Wedding Photographer | A Coddington Vineyard Wedding
Coddington Vineyard is a working vineyard and a new to the scene wedding and events venue tucked away in the Malverns on the Worcestershire and Herefordshire border. It’s really quite special, with the vineyard and beautiful gardens creating a perfect backdrop for either a lakeside ceremony or outdoor drinks reception. For the evening meal and dancing, there’s a barn with many original features, and space to set up a marquee or tent too. Tim and Ellie chose to get married at Coddington Vineyard in mid-October, and thankfully the worst of Storm Callum held off long enough for both their ceremony and drinks reception to be held outside as planned.
The lakeside ceremony tent. Marriage laws in England require that a few lines and the register itself be said and signed under a permanent structure. Many wedding venues achieve this by having a little pagoda or folly registered for ceremonies. Tim and Ellie’s registrar was happy for the main ceremony to be held outdoors under the tent pictured above, and then for Tim, Ellie and their witnesses to step inside the barn to complete the formalities before returning for the close of the ceremony. It worked perfectly.
The barn all set up on the morning of the wedding. I really loved how atmospheric it was in there with the wind blowing outside and all the lights making it feel extra cosy and inviting.
