Cinematic Wedding Films | Female Wedding Videographer

UK Wedding Videography

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I make cinematic wedding films. I live in Birmingham and film weddings close to home in the Midlands across Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire as well as further afield all around the UK.

I take a natural, storytelling approach to wedding filmmaking, capturing events as they happen in a subtle, non-intrusive, documentary manner, but always with an eye open for beautiful natural light, filmic colour and composition.

Beautiful, natural Storytelling

In addition to telling an honest, authentic story, it is important to me that the process of having a wedding film made should feel relaxed and fun for you, your family and your friends, no matter how nervous you may feel at the idea of having extra cameras rolling.

It is my promise to you that my natural, open approach to filming will help you to quickly feel at ease on the morning of your wedding so that you can relax and enjoy your day to the full, safe in the knowledge that every little detail will be captured in motion picture and sound.

Two Videographers

At weekends and during the peak summer wedding season my husband Ed films weddings alongside me, providing additional coverage from morning preparations until the evening dancing.

Having two of us film means that we can be there as both of you get ready, and make sure to capture plenty of footage from lots of different angles during the day.

We arrive at a time that suits you in the morning, and stay until a few songs after your first dance.

I am also available to film solo for smaller events or single venue weddings.

On Your Wedding Day

Ed and I believe in keeping things simple and take a people-first approach to filmmaking, making sure that everyone feels comfortable before we start filming. The world of film production can be quite intimidating if you’re not used to being in front of a camera, but it needn’t be this way.

We keep a small footprint and let events unfold as they happen, with minimal interference and direction. All you need to do is relax and get married, we’ll work quietly behind the scenes to capture every last detail from morning preparations through until the dancing begins in the evening.

Let’s Tell Your Story

If we sound like a good match for you, I’d love to chat to you to hear all about your plans for your wedding day.

Let me know your names, wedding date and a little bit about the two of you and the film you’re hoping to have made. I’ll then get back to you with my private portfolio of feature films and full details of my pricing for 2018 weddings.

I usually respond to all email enquiries within 24 hours, so if you don’t hear from me within that time frame, please do check your spam or junk folder to make sure my message got through!

Unless you work in media or advertising, chances are that you are new to the world of video production. It’s completely normal to have lots of why, what, where and how questions, especially when thinking about videography for an event as important as your own wedding. As such, I thought I would answer some of the questions I get asked by our couples to shed a little more light on the process of having a wedding film made. For those of you who are detail oriented or have specific questions, have a read through my FAQ.
